Commercial and development earthworks

Commercial earthworks is a volume game, and the money is in how much material you have to buy in or cart away. We work from the engineer’s design surface and balance cut against fill across the site wherever the levels allow, so you are not paying twice to truck spoil out and clean fill back in.

Fill goes in as layers, moisture conditioned and compacted to the dry density ratio the specification names. On the larger jobs we run GPS machine control, so the operator is cutting to the design surface rather than to string lines and a good guess, and what we hand over is a platform your structural contractor can set out on without reworking it first.

Very few commercial sites stop at the dirt. Stormwater and drainage, service trenching and conduit, subgrade and basecourse, kerbing, car parks and hardstands are all part of getting a site to the point where the builder can start.

We build roads and pavements to IPWEA WA and Main Roads WA specifications, and lay drainage to the levels and falls on your civil drawings. Service trenching covers the trench, the bedding, the conduit and the pits; the electrical work itself stays with the licensed contractor, and we sequence around them rather than across them.
